Taquitos from our partyWe had a wonderful new year's celebration spent with a friend over. We decorated with a sign, balloons and even streamers, just to be festive ~ and had pizza, shrimp, taquitos, and potato chips to feast on and celebrated the New Year with Martinelli's Sparkling Cider.
I made scrambled eggs and chopped summer sausage for brunch New Year's day.:)
Later that day, we stopped at Cracker Barrel and I had my 'good luck' black-eyed peas to start the New Year right. (my friend told me about this tradition, and wouldn't you know it one of Cracker Barrel's specials was black-eyed peas!)

OHhh Yum. Now see i miss going to Cracker Barrel! This area needs some restaurants!
