It's done, and he is happy with it!I read on a knitting blog somewhere (which one escapes me, I apologize) that the person noted that it was neat that you could refer to something as 'gray' or 'grey' depending on how you felt at that moment. I think this scarf is gray with a grey stripe! Good evening to all!:)
